911 (New York), 77 (July 7 in London) and all the other bombings that took place in this decade have successfully established in the mind of the West (and some Muslims) that Islam is a violent religion. It can’t be a religion of peace.

But, has anyone stopped and wondered why there’s this sudden rise in this type of activity?

What happened in this decade that made the number shot up? What was different in the previous decades?

Wasn’t Islam viewed as just another world religion just couple of decades ago? How has Islam moved on from being a religion of peace to a religion of terror? What has changed?
