Free Weekly SMS Subscription
The idea is simple, I send out weekly motivational quotes, ayats, dua, hadiths, nasiha etc. That’s it. No strings attached. No costs to you, and No marketing companies will ever go on it.
It’ll be just me sending out carefully selected and helpful alerts, things that helps us Muslims live our lives better.
It won’t cost you anything to receive any of the texts, and it wouldn’t matter if you live in India or the US, it’ll still be free. But, It’s going to cost me about 5 pence (sterling) per subscriber. I think I’ll be ok with the cost of running it, but if the group becomes too big then I’ll have to rely on donations.
Anyway, the only cost to you would be right in the beginning when you have to send just one SMS to a specific number. But, you’ll be charged a standard rate, and I believe, if we have free SMS credits then it will come out from these.
I am really excited about doing this because I don’t think there is another service like this out there. I only know of a prayer time SMS alerts that we have in the UK, but that you have to pay 25 pence for each alerts you receive.
I want to hear from you. I won’t make a start until brothers and sisters tell me what you think about this idea.
